Sensory Room Co-Ordinators

We are looking for people to run our sensory rooms. We need people to be available Tuesdays and Fridays during the day and the 2nd Saturday of each month during the afternoon.

The role requires training on the use of our sensory spaces, greeting families and professionals, being on site throughout their sessions, and cleaning and closing down of sensory spaces.

An ideal candidate will already have some experience of working with neuro diverse children and adults, whether professionally or through personal experience.

An enhanced DBS certificate is a mandatory requirement which AI will provide, and you will also be offered training on autism, behaviour, safeguarding and first aid.

Session Support Volunteers

We are looking for people to help run our main support sessions. Sessions currently run every Wednesday morning, from 9.30am to midday, and monthly on a Wednesday evening 6.30pm to 9.00pm. We ask that volunteers attend half an hour before and after the sessions to help set up and close down.

The role requires greeting families and professionals, working in both the cafe and shop areas, and maintaining a clean setting.

An ideal candidate will already have some experience of working with neuro diverse children and adults, whether professionally or through personal experience.

An enhanced DBS certificate is a mandatory requirement which AI will provide, and you will also be offered training on autism, behaviour, safeguarding and first aid.
