We have two sensory spaces at Autism Inclusive.

Upon entering our setting the first one you’ll see, we refer to as “The Blue Room” is an underwater-themed rough and tumble space. Lights flicker across the ceiling making waves and the sounds of the sea help to create an immersive experience. Little ones especially enjoy jumping into our bean bag pit!

Our second sensory space can be as calming or as stimulating as you like. The room features cushion flooring and walls, along with a Pea-Pod, Squeeze Seat and humungous bean bags to get as comfortable and snug as possible. We have a colour changing hurricane tube, interactive light features and infinity panels, fibre optics, a disco mirror ball and projection wall as well as the option of having music.

The sensory spaces are available to privately hire. One 90-minute session costs £15.00 and includes the use of both rooms. Please get in touch to discuss availability.

Funding for our sensory spaces was provided by the Alex Roberts-Miller Foundation, the Alexander Memorial Fund and the Charles Sharland Trust.
